About Randumosity:
Jami is the WAHM behind Randumosity. She has been happily married for 12 years, and raised her 21 year old step-daughter. In 2005 her husband had an accident that left him permanently disabled. Their family began trying to save money wherever possible (which fit in with her efforts to become more green). Jami and her step-daughter began to do research on Mama cloth and decided to make their own. They tweaked their designs (and still do) until they came up with the perfect Mama cloth. Jami decided to list a few online, and from their Randumosity was born!
Jami loves being able to work from home and do what she loves every day. She says it has been a blessing to be at home with her husband throughout his recovery.
About Zen-Full Creations:
Megan is the WAHM behind Zen-full Creation. She is the mother of two boys. Her obsession for natural products began about four years ago when she started working at a family owned Health Food store. This made her realize how chemically contaminated the products she had previously used were. After working there she vowed to change that. She had a job she absolutely loved- teaching people how to get rid of those harsh products and replae them with more health conscious items. Jami (from Randumosity) opened her eyes to the world of “handmade products”. A few years ago Megan ventured into jewelery making, and says “It did not turn out so well” . She had given up on being crafty until one day when she ran out of Laundry detergent and was short on cash. She then decided to look up a recipe and begin making her own. She then altered the recipe to fit her needs. As a mother of two boys she needed a detergent that was going to tackle some pretty serious messes. She realized that she had made a rocking detergent. It made her boys clothes look like new, and took out set in stains better than the expensive brands. Once she had tackled her laundry detergent she decided to move on to lotions. She then created the Beeswax Lotion which keeps your skin so smooth- even the next day. She tests all of her produts on her family and friends for approval before it goes out to any customers. One day Jami had a the idea to join forces. She thought that Megan should work on a laundry soap specifically for her Mama Cloth. It is formulated to battle the tough stains, and keep them fresh. This is when they created the Mama Cloth pack.
Zen- full Creations is for anyone looking to make the change from chemicals to the natural home and body care products. At a fare price , of course.
“We started Green , lets stay Green!”
What I thought:
I reviewed two liners (one 7.5 inch and one 10 inch), One bag of Mama Cloth Soak, and one bag of Natural Mama Cloth Laundry wash.
I have wanted to try Mama Cloth for a very long time. I was also iffy about it. Until cloth diapering I did not even know that such a thing existed, and at first- honestly- it creeped me out a bit. After cloth diapering for a few months I realized how many benefits there are to cloth in general. Besides saving money and the environment Zoey's skin got clearer. She seemed more comfortable, and they did not smell. I started wondering if I could experience these things by switching to Mama Cloth. I tested two liners (Pregnant so I cant test Pads for you) and I really really like them. My mind has been completely changed. I am much more comfortable. They are super easy to use, and they don’t smell like disposable pads/ liners do. Since they are less porous than disposable liners they were so sooo much more comfortable. I will be buying a stash before the arrival of baby bean!!
Also the detergent and soaking bits also worked super well. The detergent has a really fresh scent, and was super easy to use. I used the soaking bits in an old wipes case in my bathroom and just placed the used liners in the container. I can only imagine how much money I will save!!

The I Like Book- Review and Giveaway!!
About The I Like Book:
Merideth and her husband married in early 2004, and were quickly blessed with two boys. They were living in Dallas, and have since moved to Denver.
The I Like Book started when Merideth and her husband attended a "Newly Wed" class. The common theme was to express three things daily that they appreciated or liked about each other. As you can imagine three things a day became like a job as appose to something that they had fun with and looked forward to. That is when they began to make their own I Like Book to each other. When they were blessed with children they began a book for them as well. The I Like Book has become a really big part of their families life. They realize the impact of speaking positively, and words of encouragement to their children, and they get to witness the difference in their children every day.
In late 2009 after doing years of "likes" for each other they decided to share it with the world. The I Like Book concept became a reality and a passion. They want to help other families connect on a deeper level, and let each and every child know that no matter what, they are special, and they are loved. They look forward to sharing one of the most powerful relationship builders with every one!
The I Like Book Products:
The I Like Book for kids (available in four colors)
The I Like Book for Couples
What we thought: (Yes- We... You will hear from the hubs!)
I loved the book! I think most of us can agree that when we became Momma's our attention shifted a bit, and we may not give our marriage as much time as we had before. This is not to say that we are not just as in love (if not more) than we were before, we just have other things in our lives that we are focusing on now. The I Like Book has given me and my hubs some time to focus on us again. I think it is making us stronger by the day. I had no idea he liked so many things about me, and I know he feels the same way. We have written in the book every day but one, and I look forward to it every night. I am eager to see what he comes up with :)
What my hubs thought:
I thought that the book was a good way to reconnect in an easy and non-forced way by bringing up small things about each other that we appreciate. By only requiring a single small input each day, rather than spilling your guts, it's a lot easier to bring something up each day and pay a compliment to your significant other. It enabled us to remind each other how much we really enjoy being with each other.
Here are some examples of what we "Like":
Me: I like the way you laugh when something is really funny... almost a chuckle.
Hubs: I like how much you hate slow cars.
Me: I like the kind of father you have become.
Hubs: I like the kind of heart you have (he explained this one- It made me cry :) )
Me: I like the way you make sure your family is taken care of.
Hubs: I like what a wonderful Mother you are to our children.
Me: I like watching you enjoy your hobbies.
Hubs: I like how much you take pride in your work.
Me: I like how excited you get for our baby bean on the way.
Hubs: I like how excited you get for all of Zoey's first's.
Me: I like how handy you are.
Hubs: I like... You.
Me: I like that you will watch shows that you hate because I enjoy them. (specifically LMN)
Hubs: I like that you are not embarrassed to do anything around me.
Me: I like how appreciative you are.
Hubs: I like your cooking... Its the S#!*

Eco Freak- Review and Giveaway
About Eco Freak:
Tasha is the Mom behind Eco Freak. She is the mother to three children- a 12 year old daughter, and two sons- 11 and 13 months. She is happily married to her High School sweetheart. Tasha is the sole workhorse behind her business with the exception of occasional help from her hubby. Tasha started out homesteading, and monitoring what her children ate when they were younger, and everything fell into place from there. Her family is blessed with the financial stability to allow her to stay home with her children. Her husband is in the military and they both have very "old-school" views on life.
Tasha really loves what she does! Her favorite things to make are designer dryer balls. She really enjoys playing with all the different colors. Her favorite product is the Arabian Spice soap. It is in her main bathroom, and has a beautiful aroma that fills the room.
The scents are endless!!

What I Thought:
I reviewed a set of Eco Freak Dryer Balls. This was the first time I had ever used dryer balls, and I really liked them! I was concerned that they would make a lot of noise, and that they would be a pain to fish out of my laundry after each load. Neither one of those turned out to be any kind of a problem. They made absolutely no noise at all (which totally surprised me!) and they ended up on the bottom part of my dryer after each load. I loved not using any kind of fabric sheet, and best of all it cut down my drying time!! I have a terrible dryer. It was taking 2 60 minute cycles to dry our clothes (I know! We need to suck it up and buy a new one!) but while using the dryer balls it cut down the dryer time to 1 60 minute cycle and one 30 minute cycle. That should cut down the cost of our annual drying cost by 25%! I'll take that!
This is after almost 2 weeks of use:

What I thought:
I can honestly say that I really LOVE this wrap.
There is nothing better than being able to be close to my daughter all the time. She loves to be worn, and I love the snuggle time more than anything in the world. If I could freeze moments I have shared with my baby bird in this sling I would share it with each of you. That would be the only real way to describe how I feel about this sling.
Since that is unfortunately not an option I am going to do my best to explain why I am so in love with my Comfy Joey (or as we in the Morrison household call it, Comfy Zoey)
I had been using a wrap from the very beginning. I loved to be close to Zoey, but there were a lot of set backs as well. She was always directly in front of me, breathing up my nose, and the last month or so (since she has discovered my face in pieces, not just as a whole) trying to see how far she could stretch my eyelid. As I am sure you can imagine this made a lot of tasks a lot harder.
When I got this sling in the mail I was so excited. I was so hopeful I was going to find a better way for me to cuddle with my baby. I had no idea just how amazing it was going to be. I watched a video sent with the wrap before I did anything. This showed me everything there is about slings. Different ways of wearing it, different positions, where the rings should be for optimum comfort, and more. After learning how to put it on I patiently (this word may be a slight stretch of truth... I watched the baby monitor waiting and waiting) waited for Zoey to wake up from her nap. When she woke up I put her in the sling, and she LOVED it!! This would be the part in the movies where the clouds part, and sun is shining so bright. She went from fussy, to cuddle monkey in a matter of seconds. This never happened with any other wraps I have tried. That day we snuggled in the sling for 5 hours while I made her baby food, and dinner. She napped in the sling, and woke up just as happy as she could be.
At this point I was thinking to myself, there has to be a catch. It is easier to put on (by a long-shot), baby bird loves it, its stylish and comfortable.... There has to be a “but” in there somewhere. But... there really isn't!
For one week I have not used anything else. We have left the car seat in the car (which we already did, its just more convenient not to carry her, but instead to wear her) We have not touched our stroller, and she goes with me almost everywhere. We made meals together and really used every opportunity we had to snuggle in our Comfy Joey. This one week has been the easiest week yet.
The places we went:
Grocery Store- Bending, and reaching is not a problem :)
Family Function- Everyone thought it was the pretties carrier they had ever seen
Michaels- I had two mothers come up to me separately to ask me who made the sling, and tell me it was beautiful, and they thought Zoey looked comfortable, and natural in it.
Joann's Fabric- I usually hate going here with Zoey. I don't go often, but when I do I usually end up with two carts full of stuff, and it takes at least three hours. The entire time Zoey was as happy as can be. Not one peep. (except to babble to whoever wanted to listen) Several people commented on the sling there as well.
And of course, while doing all housework.
I love my ring sling!!
